So, you’re thinking of placing an order with us. That’s great! Here are some things to know:
First, you don’t have to place an order online. You can drop by Bavette Headquarters to shop in person two days per week. Get the details on shopping at Bavette HQ here.
But- more good news- you can also order with us online. Cool, right? We offer pick up at Bavette HQ or the Hollywood Farmers Market AND home delivery.
Placing an order online is easy.
Shop! You can add anything you see on our site to your cart. The order deadline each week is Friday at 9 AM for delivery or pickup that weekend, and for custom orders to be delivered or picked up the following week. More on custom orders below.
Currently, all our meat is cut and packaged at our commercial kitchen as soon as it arrives. Some cuts may be frozen if we are holding them in stock for online orders.
Decide how you would like to get your order, and select that option at checkout. Here are the options:
Pick Up At Bavette HQ. Get the details on that here.
Hollywood Farmers Market Pick Up. Sunday morning at the intersection of Selma and Ivar, from 8 AM to 1 PM. Select 'pick up at the HFM' at checkout. If you can’t find us at the market, head to the information booth and they’ll direct you.
Home Delivery. Sunday afternoon between 3 PM and 7 PM. Select 'home delivery' at checkout. Deliveries cost $9.00 for any order below $100.00. Currently you must be home for delivery, or arrange to leave a cooler outside. We are working on a solution to this and expect that you won’t have to be home in a month or two. We’ll keep you posted.
Pick up or receive your order!
For deliveries: At this moment, you must be home in order to accept our deliveries. You'll hear from us within 24 hours of placing your order to confirm. We'll call you twice if you aren't home to receive your delivery, and then move on. If we hear from you before the end of the day, we may be able to circle back. If not, we can freeze your product and deliver to you the following week. We do not offer refunds once you've received your product. Please leave any necessary details about delivering to your home in the notes at check out.
For pick ups: If you are unable to pick up your product, please let us know ASAP and we'll freeze it for you, and hold it so you can pick it up the following week. We do not offer refunds once you've received your product.
